Because of God’s greatness and favor, the Lord of the Harvest Global Ministries Holland is now in existence for three years.
If not for the effort of our brother Jennison, a faithful minister from LOTHGM Central, who heed the Lord’s calling three years ago, LOTHGM Holland would not be established. On November 6th, 2015, without any specific plan or itinerary, brother Jennison took a step of faith and traveled all the way to Netherlands. This decision was his response to God’s instruction to him after months of fervent prayer and fasting.
His mission began at the Amsterdam Schipol airport (Burger King) where he met a Filipina (who is now one of the pioneer workers of LOTHGM Holland) with whom he shared God’s message of love and salvation. One
thing led to another, bro. Jennison shared the Word of God to those he came across with and even started several bible study sessions to a group of Filipinas who eventually accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior which became the very foundation of our LOTHGM Holland family. The group’s membership grew in number especially when we started our online bible study sessions with Senior Pastor Monty Izon via Skype.
Since then, Sunday Worship services are being held simultaneously with LOTHGM Central through Facebook live broadcast.
The need for a place to worship and fellowship became apparent as our hunger and thirst for the Word of God flourished. Sister Irene Tehorst willingly offered their garage to be utilized by the group. With the joint effort of our brothers and sisters the space was immediately renovated into a sanctuary, now housing the LOTHGM Holland outreach church. In July 2017, the church was blessed and inaugurated by our Senior Pastor Monty Izon.
It is now officially a satellite church with Filipino and Dutch members who accepted the Lord Jesus Christ and most of them were water-baptized during our victorious second year anniversary in August 2018.
We, your brothers and sisters from LOTHGM Holland, continue to thank God for His goodness and love! As we are being sent out to the harvest field, to bring lost souls to Christ, we will continue to live up to our church
name inspired by the verses from Matthew 9: 37-38.
“Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. –
